House. c1500 with c1800 block to north-west. Rear block
timber-framed and rendered on ground floor with exposed
framing, close-studding and plaster infilling above. Tile-hung
to south, exposed framing to north with ground-floor C20
rendered extension. Plain tiled, half-hipped with gablets,
gabled tile-hung staircase dormer and large ridge stack, both
off-centre to left.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; irregular 4-window front, various odd
casements. C20 lean-to porch off-centre to left, half-timbered
with tiled roof. Front block is rendered with plain tiled
hipped roof and tall end slope stacks. 2 storeys; 3 windows,
glazing bar sashes, all 16-light except 12-light in centre of
1st floor. Central panelled door now hidden by C20 weather
porch.
INTERIOR: various modest c1800 fireplaces in front block.
Evidence of timber-frame to rear. C17 wooden staircase rising
up to staircase dormer. Rafter and collar roof with side
purlins.
