House. Early C18, altered c.1830. Red brick with painted stucco
dressings. Slate roof with overhanging bracketed wooden eaves
and 2 hip stacks. 3 storeys, 5 bay front with first and second
floor flat bands. Central doorway with porch with C19 open
pediment with ornate brackets, freestanding fluted columns and
fielded panelled soffit; inner semi-circular headed doorway with
patched brick jambs, reeded doorcase, ornate reveal, traceried
fanlight and three-quarter glazed door. 2 long glazing bar
sashes on each side of the doorway with possible remnants above
of blinds. 5 glazing bar sashes above and 3 smaller glazing bar
sashes above them. All the windows with painted wedge lintels.
