This house was built by the Laker family but was formerly called Beggars Bush. Early
C19. Two storeys. Five windows. Red brick. Eaves bracket cornice. Hipped slate
roof. Glazing bars intact. Wide porch containing a doorway with segmental
fanlight. At the east and west ends are balancing late C19 five-sided additions like
bays on both storeys. T-wing behind to south.
