Cottage. Late C16 or early C17 with late C17 alterations. Timber-framed and
roughcast rendered. Ridge pantiled roof. Red brick ridge stack and gault
brick gable end stack to right hand. One storey and attic, three unit lobby
entry plan. C20 door, three ground floor casement windows and two gabled
dormer windows with casements. Interior: Timber-framed and plastered
chimney; back to back hearths inserted in brick with baking oven c.1700.
Chamfered ceiling beams. Roof of hedgerow timbers, plastered between the
rafters with remains of original thatch.
