Basement, two storeys and attic. Moulded stone plinth with buttresses to ground floor cill-height, floor bands, and stone-coped parapeted gables with kneelers; C17 gabled full dormers above second and sixth bays with segmental-headed four-pane sashes, external brick end stacks with three square shafts, truncated to left. Seven bays; late C19 segmental-headed four-pane sashes, some with flanking pilaster strips but straight joints flanking other windows suggesting their removal. Central three storey gabled porch, eight stone steps up to round archway with flanking rusticated pilaster strips and dentil brick cornice above. One storey C19 addition to left with truncated external brick end stack. Right-hand return front: two bays; French casements to left with bracketed hood. Projecting C17 gabled stair tower at rear, now partly obscured by C19 additions in same style as house.

Interior: C17 staircase rising to attic in tower at rear: three flights to each floor around square well with closed string, splat balusters, moulded grip rail, chamfered square newel posts with bulbous finials, and pendants; ground floor front room to right with C17 panelling and corner fireplace with C17 overmantel with two double-arched panels, and oval and lozenge decoration; ground floor room at rear with possibly re-used panelling and corner fireplace with C19 decorative-tile surround; C17 cellar door with decorative strap hinges; probably late C19 fireplace in entrance hall with four-centred moulded arch, carved spandrels, and keyed lintel. .
