Well head, archway and trough. Red brick and ashlar. C18 and
C19. Small round C19 red brick arch set over a spring and into
the bank side with central re-used ashlar keystone inscribed "HW
1718". Running along the base is a stone sill and there is a
single projecting stone trough. Said to be of medieval origin,
the well is at the base of a bank of an ancient holloway.
