Formerly a lodge to Appledurcombe House. Slightly Gothicised circa 1820-30. 2
storeys coursed rubble. Steep pitch gable end slate roof flanked by large external
stepped stacks with tall, paired, diagonally set, heavy capped chimneys. The roof
was probably thatched originally. 3 window north front, 2 light stone mullioned
casements and central gabled 2 storey porch with small stone oriel to 1st floor,
the ground floor originally open now glazed in. The flanking ground floor windows
are rectangular pent roof stone bays with 3 stone mullioned lights. Small oriel
half dormer with lozenge glazing to rear elevation.
