House. Rainwater head dated 1827. Possibly by Webster. Roughcast stone with
slate roof. 2 storeys and 3 bays. 1st floor sill band and wide bracketed
eaves. Ground floor windows in segmental-headed recesses; all windows are
sashed with glazing bars. Central entrance has overlight with glazing bars and
half-glazed door; porch probably altered, with entablature. 2 cross-axial
stacks. Left return similar, of 3 bays; sashed windows with glazing bars;
entrance to 1st bay. Right return has varied fenestration; ground floor window
and tall stair window have small-paned fixed glazing with opening lights. Rear
has gabled 1st bay with gable-end stack and later lean-to outshut with sashed
window to return.
