Dated 1851, an extension to Hunter's almshouses. One storey brown brick with red brick window dressings. Tiled roof with five large projecting brick stacks. Two gables. One on the extreme right and one on the left which is crow-stepped. Blue brick diaper patterns in the gables. One cambered casement to each and arched doorcases. Underneath the left side gable is a through passage flanked by lancet windows. The arch has stone dripmoulding and corbels.
Nos 52, 56, 58, 62 and 64 to 70 (even) form a group.
