Late C18 house built as a residence for James Robinson circa 1775. Red brick
and of 2 storeys, now comprising a U-plan. Front range of 3 storeys in Flemish
bond with horned sash windows, clear-glazed, 3 over 2 with central front door.
The 2 rear wings have thinly barred hornless sash windows with 4 pane units
above 8 paned, in wide exposed boxes. Two red brick chimney stacks, one each
end of front range, 2 at ends of rear wings. Roof pegtiled, with ridges and
gables.
