Farmhouse. C17 origins reconstructed late C19. Squared coursed limestone with
ashlar dressings. Collyweston and Welsh slate roofs. 2-unit plan with central
hall. 2 storeys. 4-window range of chamfered stone mullion windows. Centre 2
windows to first floor are of 2-lights, other flanking windows are of 3-lights.
Similar single-light window to ground floor, right of centre. 6-panel door to
left of centre, is under wood lintel. Ashlar quoins. Ashlar gable parapets and
ashlar end stacks, each with pulvinated frieze. One bay, attached to left, may
have been a separate dwelling. C18 stables, attached at right angles to rear,
have plank doors under wood lintels and 3 hipped dormers. Chamfered plinth and
Collyweston slate roof. Part of this range may have been a barn. Interior of
house not inspected but noted as having remains of open fireplaces with
bressumers.
