House. Late C17 with early C19 wing. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof.
2-cell direct central-entry plan into 1st cell double-depth with rear wing.
2 storeys. Quoins. All windows are double-chamfered with almost square reveals
most mullions removed. Doorway has composite jambs, Tudor-arched lintel and
cyma-moulded surround. Flanking ground-floor windows formerly of 4 lights to
1st cell and 3 lights to 2nd cell have lowered sills. 1st floor has former
3-light windows. Coped gables with kneelers and stack, other central ridge stack.
Attached to rear, wing at right angles: has coped gable with stack. Left return:
wing has doorway with tie-stone jambs and lintel cut with false voussoirs to right
of 16-pane Yorkshire sash under lintel with incised voussoirs; window above has
glazing altered to casement.

Interior: 1st cell has stop-chamfered spine beam of large scantling and Tudor-arched
fireplace with chamfered surround. 2nd cell has roughly-dressed spine beam. C19
single flight stair to rear of 1st cell at junction with wing.
