Gateway. Mid C19, possibly designed by Sir Charles Barry. Square ashlar gate-piers
with a recessed Gothic panel on each side and pyramidial tops. Between them are
double pedestrian gates of Gothic pattern, but without an overthrow or lamp.
To the north a stone wall connects the gate-piers with the outbuildings of Petworth
House.
