Terrace of 3-storey 1-window cottages built for fustian-cutters, early
C19. Red brick in English garden wall bond with gabled grey slate
roof and 3 ridge chimneys. Small-pane recessed sashes to lower and
middle storeys (bars removed from lower storey of No.ll) Yorkshire
lights to former fustian-cutting loft, some boarded up. Stone cills,
wedge lintels. Doors altered in round-arched openings; fanlights
blocked.
Listed as a rare example of a terrace of cottages built with an
undivided loft (now altered) for a group of fustian-cutters.
