C18 pair. No 162 much altered. Each 3 storeys, attic and basement, 3 windows.
Gambrel roof, No 162 tiled, 164 slated, each with a wide dormer. No 162 stock
brick with parapet front, stucco ground floor, all of mid-late C19 date, as are
the sash windows. Modern door with rectangular fanlight. No 164 of original red
brick with cornice band and stone-coped parapet. Gauged brick arches to sash windows
with vertical bars on 2nd floor. Stuccoed below. Early-mid C19 long casements
to 1st floor long iron balcony. Plain sashes on ground floor. At left 5 stone
steps to 6-panel door, with rectangular fanlight, in prostyle porch with narrow
columns.
Nos 162 to 168 (even) form a group.
