Former terrace houses. 1883 by Colonel Edis. Stone faced, slate
roof. Renaissance and Flemish motifs. 5 main storeys and dormered
mansard. The elevation of 2 unequal parts, each with a canted bay
window, asymmetrically set to left and symmetrical to right. Ground
floor has carved enrichment with entrances to left and right, shop
front in centre, entered through columned porch to right which
supports the right hand canted bay rising full height of elevation.
The left hand canted bay stops short of 4th floor. Cast iron
balconies link the canted bays at each floor level. Cornice over
4th floor; pedimented dormer to left, tall stone gable to right with
heraldic device in apex and carved finial. Tall stack to right.
