Terrace. 1820s. S P Cockerell for Bishop of London's Trustees. Brown brick.
Channelled stucco ground floors. 3 storeys and basement, each 2 bays. Basement
railings ramped up to flank steps to entrances. No 14 has shop front bow with
fixed lights. Otherwise round-arched recesses contain doors under fanlights
flanked by consoles. Sashes throughout mainly with glazing bars. Decorative
iron balcony to 1st floor. Flat gauged brick arches to upper windows. Stucco
parapet to No 19. No 16 blue plaque commerating Olive Schreiner, author
(1855-1920).
