1867 by G R Clarke. Pair of stone Gothic cemetery chapels of unusual T plan, Anglican
Chapel oriented east-west with office and Dissenters Chapel in attached range running
north. Picturesque bell tower over office with plain tiled pyramid roof. Paired bell
openings and iron cross on top. Gothic arched door with carved heads. Dissenters
Chapel 3 bay with lancets. Anglian Chapel 3 bay with 3-sided apse. Trefoil headed
lancets, single and paired. Three light window. Three stained glass windows. East
window c1870 by Heaton, Butler and Bayne. Two south windows c1875.
The architect, G R Clarke, 1829-1908, is buried to SE of this chapel.
