Former farmhouse, now divided into two, C17, restored and refaced in late C19,
possibly by Philip Webb. 2 storeys and attics, L-shaped plan. Timber-framed,
plastered and rendered. Plaintiled roofs. Main east-west range has mock
timbering similar to that on the facade of the Nether Hall outbuildings. 2-storey
porch, jettied and gabled. Mullion-and-transome windows, 3 and 4-light, as on
outbuildings and 2 gabled dormers. North-south range has an internal chimney-
stack with plain shaft, lobby entrance, 3-cell plan. 4 small-paned sashes in
flush frames to ground storey: 3 similar, but narrower windows to upper storey,
3 gabled dormers. Flat-roofed porch.
