Tomb. 1784, designed by Sir John Soane. Stone. Table tomb in the style
of a classical sarcophagus. Rounded ends with friezes of curved fluted
strips. Side panels with illegible inscriptions. Plain slab top. The tomb
was paid for by Lord Bellamont. Elizabeth Johnstone "who lived with her
parents in Brompton" may have been his mistress.
