Late C19 board school. 2 adjoining buildings of stock brick with dressings of
red brick and Portland Stone. High pitched tiled roofs. East wing of 3 storeys
and attic, 4 windows, irregular. Hipped roof with gablets. 1 dormer and a tall
pedimented shaped, scro led gable breaking eaves at right. 3-storey, 2-window
link, with parapet, to main block with 2 parallel roof ridges, gable ends to road.
These are larger and more elaborate than the gable in east wing, the eastern one
largest as its roof ridge is highest. Moulded string at 2nd floor level. Elliptical
stone hoods above large 2nd floor windows. 5-bay right return has 3 gables similar
to the 1st: and south elevations are of like pattern.
