Late C19 board school. Large building of stock brick with dressings of red brick
and tarra-cotta and high pitched tiled roofs, some hipped, some gabled. 4 sections:

a. at extreme left a projecting blank gabled wing, with chimney breast, has left
return with one stepped and 2 pedimented gables; and terracotta rusticated window
architraves.

b. a plain 5-storey, 3-window section only relieved by moulded strings.

c. a narrow, 2-window red brick staircase bay of 6 storeys and attic, having shaped
gable ornamented with terracotta lesenes and angle turrets and medallion: "L.S.B."

d. main right building of 3 storeys, 5 windows. Bays divided by thick brick pilasters
rising through cornice to fit into raised sections of battlemented parapet. Roof
crowned by ogee cupola with spirelet.
