Detached house. C17/C18. Ham stone cut and squared, some coursed rubble; thatched roof with coped south gable, plain
gable to north; brick chimney stacks with traditional baffles. Two storeys, 3 bays + 1 bay. Casement windows with
chamfered mullions and iron-framed opening lights, rectangular-leaded, all 3-light except lower bay 1 which is 4-light
and alone has a label; bay 4, of later date, has 2-light small-pane casement windows, the lower under a timber lintol;
to lower bay 2 a boarded door in very wide cambered-arched timber frame which might be of early C20, but a similar
doorway, more likely the original, in a single storey extension on the north-east corner, which has a hipped double
Roman clay tiled roof. Interior not seen.
