Former terraced house, now shop. Early C18. White and red brick with
stone dressings. Plain tile hipped roof behind stone coped parapet. Shared
stack on south party wall. Brick cornice below parapet. East front: 3
storeys, 3 bays. Ground storey now filled by forward-standing C20 shop
front. 1st and 2nd storeys each have 3 windows, that to left on each storey,
blind, the rest have late C19 sashes set in earlier exposed sash boxes, flush
with the brickwork. All openings have soft red brick surrounds and gauged
brick flat arches with keystones. Interior: C19 staircase from ground floor
to 1st floor. Early C18 winder staircase from 1st to 2nd floor, with closed
string, barley sugar twist-on-vase balusters, and moulded handrail, with
square topped newels. Panelled dado with wall string and rail. Said to retain
C18 panelling on ground and 1st floors, all boarded over.
