Barn. Mid C18. Weatherboard over timber frame set on brick plinth; half-hipped C19
slate roof. 5-bay plan with central threshing floor. Gabled midstrey with strap
hinges to plank doors; lean-to granary to left of midstrey, raised on brick piers and
with strap hinges to plank door. Interior: timber frame with straight wall bracing,
unjowled storey posts with straight braces to tie beams of queen-strut trusses with
clapsed purlins. York stone threshing floor. Walls originally rendered above mid
rail; C18 weather-boarding and render exposed in granary lean-to.
