Circa 1826. A pair of former railway houses. Ashlar; 2 storeys plus basement
below road level; 2 sash windows; 2 identical doorcases, one at each side,
with semi-circular heads and wheel fanlights; plain eaves; hipped slate
roof. Wrought iron railings flanking bridged entrance-ways and at sides
of steps down at each side to lower floor. Built into the steep embankment
below the roadside.
