Bank. Late Cl9. Ashlar, polished granite dressings, brick to rear, roof not

have doorways. All openings have stilted arches with chamfered carved
surrounds and wooden trefoil-headed glazing bars, sill band to central 3 bays.
1st and 2nd floors have central 3 bays recessed. Central segmental oriel
window to 1st floor has carved shields under window with balustraded parapet.
Above and flanking on both floors are 2-light chamfered mullioned windows
with basket-arched lintels. Balustrade to either side of oriel. Outer bays
have cross-windows with ogee lintels and balustraded balconies and 2 trefoil-
headed lights to 2nd floor. Eaves band, dentil cornice, balustraded pediment.
2 brick stacks.

Has similar elements of design as No 10 Bradford Road, (the National Westminster

and Yorkshire Bank Ltd. It is possible this bank is of similar date and by the
same architect. Included for group value.
