House, formerly small farmhouse. Probably C17, modernised and extended circa 1975.
Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatched roof
with slate over C20 extension. Originally a 2 room plan house facing south-west
with rear lateral stack serving right (south-eastern) room. 1 room extension on
left (north-western) end. 2 storeys. Overall 4 window front of C20 casements with
glazing bars, 2 to extension. Original house has door set slightly left of centre
with C20 slate-roofed and gabled porch which includes C19 Gothick trefoil headed
windows each side.
Interior has plain carpentry detail. The larger right end room has plain chamfered
crossbeam and large rubble fireplace with plain oak lintel and side oven which
projects externally to rear. Roof not inspected.
