Pair of cottages in row. Late C17. Rubble stone, stone slate roof
with saddleback coped verge to left and plain coping to right,
gable end stone stacks. Two-storey, 2-window. No 56 has half-
glazed door to right, 2-light recessed hollow-chamfered mullioned
casement with hoodmould and blocked doorway to left. No 57 has
planked door and 2-light recessed cyma-mullioned casement to right.
First floor has 3-light hollow-chamfered mullioned casement to left
and 3-light cyma-mullioned casement to right, small blocked light
to right of centre. Rear has mullioned casements.
