1/1 Hobb's Bottom Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Mid C17, extended late C19. Coursed rubble stone,
stone slate roof, gable end stone stacks. Two-storey, 2-window C19
entrance front. Four-panelled door with flat stone hood on
brackets to left, 3-light ovolo-mullioned casement to right, first
floor has 2-light and 3-light mullioned casements, all with
hoodmoulds, C17 parallel range projecting to left has 3-light
ovolo-mullioned casements to ground and first floor of gable end
with 2-light to attic, all with hoodmoulds, coped verge with
saddlestone, south front has 3-light mullioned casement to ground
and first floor, west gable end has mullioned casements. Rear wing
has planked door and mullioned casements. Interior not accessible
at time of survey (January 1987), but said to have deep chamfered
beams.
