Farmhouse

Stable and loft. c.1770. Coursed rubble stone with Welsh slate roof. Single
storey and loft. Window and loft openings and stable doors to east side. On north
end is applied timber framing, partly original, forming a triple-arched blind
arcade: the stone footings are part of the original stonework behind. Quatrefoil
in gable is missing. The arcade was intended to be seen as part of the overall
composition when the lodge (q.v.) was viewed from the park.
