One of a pair of gate lodges. Probably early C19. Rendered brick; Welsh-slate
roof with rendered stack. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window
front, with stucco storeyband, has a central architraved doorway set in a tall
blind arch with double-stepped keyblock; flanking sashes have 16 panes at first
floor and 20 panes at ground floor, and all have projecting keyblocks. Plain
parapet returns only a short distance to the sides which have further sashes at
ground floor. Hipped roof has a central stack. Interior not inspected.
