18/175 Kiddington Lodge

Gate lodge. Early C19. Coursed squared limestone with ashlar dressings;
Welsh-slate roof with ashlar ridge stack. 2-unit lobby-entry plan with
subsidiary wings. Single storey. Symmetrical front, with rusticated quoins, has
a central round-arched doorway with rusticated voussoirs and a 6-panel door with
fanlight, and has flanking arched sashes with plain wide architraves; both ends
have similar windows. Shallow-pitched hipped roof rises from a moulded stone
cornice and has deep projecting eaves. Central stack has a bracketed cap. Small
subsidiary ranges to rear. Interior not inspected.
