Farmhouse, now house. C17 and early C18, extended and altered C20. Coursed
limestone rubble with wooden lintels; Stonesfield-slate and Welsh-slate roofs
with rubble stacks. L plan, extended. 2 storeys plus attic. Front has a central
doorway in a C20 porch; to right are two 2-light casements at each floor, and to
left, 2 casements at ground floor and one above, some with C17 stop-chamfered
lintels. Steep-pitched roof has 2 gabled roof dormers. Single-storey C20 range
extends to right. C17 rear wing returns from left, and a later range adjoins it.
Extending from the former is a 2-storey granary range with external stone steps,
now part of the house. Interior: 3 open fireplaces, 2 with cambered
stop-chamfered bressumers; chamfered cross beams; winder attic stairs. Formerly
a through-passage plan with the main fireplace adjoining the passage.
