Barn, integral cottage, adjoining outbuilding. Early C17, late
C18, late C19. Coursed squared rubble and brick. Pantile and
corrugated sheet roofs. Ashlar dressings. Single ridge stack.
Single and 2 storeys plus garrets. L-plan. 5 bays wide by 4
bays deep. Windows are casements, some with flush mullions.
West side has, to left, C20 corrugated iron and brick additions.
To right, pair of barn doors with inserted overlight. To right,
2 breathers. Above, 6 breathers. Cottage, to right, has 2
casements, one with chamfered reveal. Above, 3 casements, one
very small. South end has off-centre door with overlight flanked
by single casements. To right, adjoining outbuilding has a hatch
with segmental head. Above, to left, 2 casements and above
again, blocked window. North gable has pair of C20 barn doors.
Above, to right, door and flanking light. Various breathers.
Outbuilding has to north, 3 doors. Cottage has to north, a
Yorkshire sash and a door. Above, a Yorkshire sash. East side
has gable to left with a casement. To right, cottage has door
and 2 casements. Above, a casement. Barn has 2 C20 additions
and altered openings. Above, 6 breathers. Barn has principal
rafter roof, 4 bays, with double purlins, wind braces and ridge
piece. Collars. Struts to purlins. To south, stud partition.
to north, C19 loft. Cottage has 4 span beams, 2 with ogee stops.
Winder stair. Stud partition. Principal rafter roof similar to
barn. C19 corner register grate.
