Late C18, 3 storeys ashlar stone on projecting plinth, 1st floor string course,
moulded cornice and blocking course with raised centre block. Hipped slate
roof. 2 two light casements on 2nd floor flanking false window. 3 windows
to 1st floor, architrave surrounds and cornice on flat scroll brackets. Ground
floor formerly had 2 similar windows (without cornices). These have been replaced
by 2 early Cl9 style shop windows, central 6 panel door. Front to Chequers
Passage is pebble dashed. Coupled windows to right and left with single central
window, to upper floors. Ground floor has similar early C19 shop front and
recessed central 6 panel door with rectangular fanlight with linked oval glazing.
Formerly there was a canted bay on right hand.
Nos 13 to 15 (consec) form a group.
