Public house. Datestone W.P./1735. Squared and coursed limestone, colourwashed
to front; gabled stone slate roof; brick end stack. L-plan with rear left wing.
2 storeys and attic; symmetrical 2-window range. Bracketed flat hood over C19
six-panelled door. Carved monkey and head to dateplaque above door. Keyed stone
lintels over mid C18 six-pane sashes with thick glazing bars. Gabled dormer. C20
rear extension and C18 rear left wing with concrete tile roof. Interior:
chamfered beams, and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. First floor not
inspected.
