Housed subsequently shop and dwelling now bars and restaurant. Mid C18 with
late C19 alterations. Flemish bond brick with dog-tooth cornice; front has
colourwashed render. Old plain-tile roof has coped gable parapets; truncated end
stacks. L-plan with wing on left to rear. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range.
Late C20 half-glazed door and blocked overlight between 2 very large late C19
shop bays under single flat roof, with lean-to wood canopy on iron supports. C19
ha-I on right has painted wood fascia and cornice, First floor has 3-light
casements with top lights, horizontal glazing bars and central opening light,
under segmental arches. 2 late C19 dormers have 3-light casements with
horizontal glazing bar. Long colourwashed irregular rear wing is a 5-window
range. Interior is opened up on ground floor, but retains ogee stop-chamfered
ceiling bears, Original open-well staircase has scrolled string and
column-on-vase balusters. Some C18 two-panelled doors.
