Wall of walled gardens, probably late C18, of brown brick. English
garden wall bond. Buttresses, triangular in plan, on inner and outer
faces of wall. About 49 courses (4 metres) high with plain
rectangular stone coping. 2 bricks thick (0.5 metres), the wall
contains flues and was heated. It surrounds a garden forming a
parallelogram circa 140 x 110 metres. A good example, intact except
for furnaces. Central part of west facing wall to garden is
thickened. Formed garden to Aston Hall.
