Wool textile warehouse and offices. C1880. Ashlar, with ashlar
dressings and red brick side walls. Slate roofs with a single gable
stack and ashlar coped gables. Bond Street front, 5 storeys, 4 bays.
Rusticated basement has off centre doorway with double panel doors
in round headed surround, to the left a single and to the right a
pair of segment headed plain sashes, with iron bars. Plain
rusticated upper floor has 4 round-headed plain sashes with moulded
impost band. Above a moulded cornice, and 4 further round-headed
plain sashes, above again 4 segment headed plain sashes, and above
again 4 flat headed plain sashes and a moulded cornice. Croft Street
front, 4 storeys, 5 bays. Rusticated ground floor has a large
segmental arched cart entrance to the left, then 2 round-headed plain
sashes and beyond a round-headed doorway with double panel doors and
a large overlight. Above a moulded cornice and 5 round-headed plain
sashes with moulded impost band. Above 5 segment headed plain sashes
and above again 5 flat headed plain sashes.
