Farmhouse, now house. Late C17 with later alterations. Coursed and
dressed Todber stone, with ashlar front; C19 addition of coursed
rubble; gabled mid C20 interlocking tile roof; stone ridge stack
finished in mid C20 brick. T-plan with C19 lean-to extensions to
right (north west) and lobby-entry to main 2-unit range. 2 storeys;
3-window range. Timber and concrete lintels over panelled door and
mid C20 windows. Stone base of single-storey open porch. Interior
noted as having chamfered beams with a variety of stops, two C17
ground-floor fireplaces with chamfered jambs and timber bressummers
and smoking/curing chamber, some plank partitions to first floor and
elm floorboards to attic with purlins trenched into principals of
tie-beam trusses.
