Small house. Late C17 or early C18. Coursed limestone rubble
with rendered right end stack to Welsh slate roof. One-unit
plan. 2 storeys; one-window garden front. Timber lintel over
C19 plank door to left. Drip mould over 3-light
stone-mullioned ground-floor window with cyma-moulded
surround; similar 2-light first-floor window and similar
blocked window to rear. Blocked entry to right-hand return.
Interior: C19 joinery and c1860 fireplace with cast-iron
grate; C17 fireplace presently obscured; 2-bay roof with butt
purlins.
A significant surviving example of a small rural dwelling of
this type and date.
