Detached house. C17. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings; double Roman clay tiles between high coped gables,
suggesting former thatch; brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 5 bays. Hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in chamfered
recesses, all 2-light with horizontal-bar glazing, lower windows with labels; to lower bay 3 a moulded cambered-arched
doorway with incised spandrils and separate label, with boarded door. Single-storey lean-to against south gable,
outshut to rear. Interior not seen. About 4 metres east of house the boundary walls, about 1.2 metre high, in coursed
rubble with plain coping having curved Sweeps up to gateway piers opposite door to house; piers square, about 2.25m
high, with cornice caps and stepped pyramid caps, wrot-iron gate between, the whole adding to the setting of the
house.
