Barn, c.1700. Sandstone rubble with quoins and stone dressings,
stone slate roof with gable copings and kneelers. Rectangular 4-bay
plan. Square breathers in all walls; north front has sliding door
covering wagon entrance to 2nd bay, doorways to 1st, 3rd and 4th
bays, all with large lintels and straight dripstones, the lintel of
the centre with returned-end segmental moulding. Rear wall has inter
alia a doorway (altered as window) with splayed lintel and stepped
dripstone, and a 2-light window with chamfered mullion and hoodmould;
east end wall has one similar window. Interior: original cow stalls at
east end; 4th bay possibly built as dwelling.
