Shippon and barn. Probably C18 or earlier; C20 additions at either side of
shippon, and on south-east side of barn. Granite rubble with roof covering of
corrugated iron. L-shaped, the long narrow shippon (with loft over) at right-angles
to the barn. Shippon has doorway with granite lintel in north-west gable-wall,
facing house; ventilation slit above. North-east wall has loft door with old
wrought-iron strap-hinges at right-hand end. Blocked ventilation slit to left of
it. 2 doors, 1 now blocked, in south-west wall. Barn has large doorway on south-
east side, with old plank double doors having wrought-iron strap-hinges. C20 plank
door with old hinges to loft in north-east gable-wall. Barn has old roof-trusses
with collars pegged to the faces of the principal rafters. Shippon has on the
cobbled floor against north-east wall, a line of feeding-trough stones with slots
for tethering-posts on top.
