3 cottages, now 2 cottages. Mid C17 with C18 alterations and
extensions, restored c.1980. Timber framed with red brick
nogging and extensions, some render, rubble and blue brick.
Pantile roof. Right gable red brick stack. Brick coped gables
with kneelers. Set on a plinth, rubble in parts. One and a half
storeys, 8 bays. The fourth, fifth and sixth bays from the left
are slightly set back being timber framed, with exposed timbers,
render infill to the first floor. The right 2 bays with red
brick stretchers and blue headers. The remaining bays with some
blue brick chequering. Having from left to right, a single C20
Yorkshire sash, a doorway with plank door, a single similar
tripartite sash, a doorway with plank door, a single similar
quadripartite sash, a single similar tripartite sash, a doorway
with plank door in former segmental arched opening, and a single
similar tripartite sash in former smaller segmental arched
opening. Above are 2 similar small sashes and to the right 2
similar small tripartite sashes. Further right is a single
sloping dormer with 2 similar small sashes and on the far right a
single similar dormer with single similar sash. Visible remains
of timber frame include 5 posts, 2 studs, 4 braces, wall plate
and rail. Attached to the right is a red brick and pantile lower
one and a half storey, single bay wing with single similar
tripartite sash and single blocked opening above.
