Cow house, now house. Probably late C17, altered in 1830s
by R.B. Rampling. Timber-frame cladding, probably on
dressed stone, with tile roof; rear of dressed stone. One
storey, 4 bays. 2 windows have diamond-paned casements, one
C20 casement. C20 entrance. Rear has 3 raking buttresses
and entrance up stone steps. Right return has small
projection, believed to be bread oven. Cross-axial stack
and small stack in roof pitch. Interior has exposed cruck
truss with tie beam and principal rafters with wind braces;
other trusses probably remain in cross walls.
