Farmhouse and adjoining farm buildings. Late C18/early C19.
Hammer dressed stone with slate and graduated stone slate
roof. Double-depth central-staircase plan with 3 storeys, a
single-depth 2-storey wing to left and farm buildings
adjoining to right. 4 workshop windows to ground floor with
flat-faced surrounds and C20 casements. Central first floor
door with heavy square-cut stone surround which is
approached by a flight of stone steps. The first and second
floors have 2 windows with stone sills, wedge lintels and
C20 casements. Gable chimney stacks. The left wing has a 2-
light flat-faced mullion window on each floor. 5 bay farm
building probably pre-dates the house, has later window
openings and projecting outshuts at each end. Similar first
floor door surround to rear which has 5-light mullioned
workshop windows on the ground floor and 2 3-light on the
first and second all with mullions removed.
