Pair of houses. 1910-11 to designs by T. M. Wilson. Brick in stretcher bond to end bays; painted pebble dash to recessed centre ranges. Hipped roofs of tile with swept, boxed eaves. Two storeys with dormers. Treated as a double-ended hall house with single-window range to each crosswing bay and four-window range to centre section; bilaterally symmetrical about party wall. All openings are flat arched. Entrances under porches supported by metal brackets to first- and fourth- ranges. Doors of authentic design. Two-light hipped dormers high on front roof slope of centre section on axis with lights below. Windows of an authentic design. Moulded axial stacks to ridge at party wall. Axial stacks to end walls rising from offset buttress chimney breast, an inventive feature which raises this design above the level of similar structures built to the double-ended plan in Meadway.
