House, formerly farmhouse and used as a farm building prior to the 1950s. Circa 1650 building with large 1950s extension which is not of special interest. Original part of three bays timber-framed in square panels with brick infill to north, mixture of brick and plaster infill to east and concealed under brick and tile-hanging to south. Tiled roof hipped to south and gabled to north. Formerly external brick chimneystack to west now incorporated in C20 extension. Two storeys and attics in gable end. Mainly C20 casements and French window to south. North front has opening with diamond mullions in slightly jettied gable. Interior has open fireplace with wooden bressumer on sandstone piers and opening to brick breadoven. Chamfered spine beam. First floor has jowled posts, further chamfered beam, plank door and old floorboards. Winder stair to attic which has roof of angled queenposts with collars. Attic plank door with pintle hinges. Formerly called Quince Cottage.
